Hi, I’m Kim Jenkins.
Over my decades of learning, serving, and delivering results in various corporate environments, I have developed specialized skills that transform good intentions into great results.
During my career, I've grown through the ranks and hierarchies of leading Fortune 100 companies, gaining knowledge and developing skills while strategically maneuvering through various corporate cultures. My work has received global recognition, and my approach has been labeled 'breakthrough,' 'transformative,' and 'relatable.'
From Audit to Finance to M&A, to Capital Markets, to Technology, to Fintech, and to Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), the scope and scale of my efforts cross a myriad of functions. The results I have delivered have been worthy of being recognized as CFO of the Year by the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. and CFO of Excellence by the Technology Business Management Council. In addition, I have received numerous global awards and recognition for the results I have delivered in the DEI space.
Most recently, I led the comprehensive reimagination of PayPal’s D&I strategy to launch a global diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging strategy. The breadth and depth of my experiences—as a young girl from an inner-city community, through my education and career—have given me a unique perspective on the seismic impact that courageous, engaged, curious, and caring leaders can have in inclusive talent transformation. I am uniquely poised to assist individuals and organizations in building an equitable foundation for future success while ensuring talented individuals get to follow their dreams and live the lives they aspire to live.
This is hard work, but I believe it is the most meaningful and impactful work that can be done. I also have a passion for working with smart people to tackle hard challenges. "I met Kim during the summer of 2006. Kim was a senior leader and spearheaded finance recruiting efforts for a global corporation at a conference in Fort Lauderdale. She puts aside the social norms of the generation and focuses on the individual or task at hand. My first job out of college was at a bank where Kim was sitting in the C suite. I went to a Women in Finance meeting to try and get more involved, and I remember Kim walking up to me (in sparkly, high pumps) and introducing herself to me, as she did not recognize my face.
"She then began to ask me as many things as she could—where I was from, my educational background, hobbies, and my goals for the role I had just accepted, including my career. She treated me respectfully and as her equal, even though I was far below her and did not work on her team. She values your character, work ethic, and the way you treat others around you, and that is part of what makes her so special.
"The most influential thing that Kim has taught me is to understand my value, and she always makes me feel valued. She has shown me the importance of being your authentic self and having the courage to stand up for what you believe in. Kim is the living definition of the phrase 'Do no harm, but take no shit.' She is kind, genuine, passionate, charismatic, hardworking, and humble. She will respectfully speak up and challenge decisions that she does not agree with.

What makes her different as a leader is that she consistently puts the greater good first and does not let her feelings, ego, or setbacks influence her decisions.
